We recently framed an original oil painting by Ladysmith artist Michael Dean.
The muted tones and rustic style of the frame suited the misty scene in the painting but when the painting was sold, the new owners found that the painting was a little lost on their wall. We felt that the painting needed a more bold treatment to draw attention to the painting without dominating it.
